Lively arrangements for Sehri celebrations in Scotland

A magnificent Dua and Sehri gathering was held in Edinburgh, Scotland, on the nineteenth night of the holy month of Ramadan. Organized by the ‘Scot-Bangla Sporting Club’—a well-known entity within the Scottish-Bengali community—this lively Sehri event was attended by over a hundred expatriate Bangladeshis residing in Edinburgh.

This delightful Sehri gathering took place at 1:00 AM in a hall in the Costorphine area of ​​Edinburgh. Advocate Mia Mostafa, Ahsan Uddin Sohan, and Nunu Miah delivered the welcome address on behalf of the Scot Bangla Sporting Club, thanking the attendees for their presence.

Notable guests included Foysal Ahmed Chowdhury (MSP, MBE), Abdul Muhit Khan Badsha, Golam Anis Chowdhury, Shahnoor Chowdhury, Labas Miah, Shamim Hossain, Abu Miron, Farhad Reza, and Badrul Hossain Babu, among others. The invited guests expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to the organizers.

The event commenced with a Dua and Milad Mahfil (prayer gathering). The buffet-style menu featured fried Rui fish, chicken curry, lamb bhuna, and plain rice. Guests were served desserts as the event concluded. Advocate Mia Mostafa and Ataur Rahman conducted the proceedings.
